Boys XC Power Rankings: Week 6




Team

  1. Falmouth

    Previous: 1

    Last Meet: at Greely

    Place: 1st

    Falmouth defeated their arch rivals- Greely, Cape Elizabeth, and Yarmouth- behind Tim Follo's first place finish. Look for Falmouth to take the WMC Championships on their home course this Friday.

  2. Scarborough

    Previous: 2

    Last Meet: at Cheverus

    Place: 1st

    The Red Storm placed first at Cheverus behind Wout Moulin's first place finish. Look for them to win easily on their home course this Friday.

  3. York

    Previous: 3

    Last Meet: at Traip

    Place: 1st

    York placed first at Traip behind Mitch Finitz' first place finish. Look for York to contend for the top spot at the WMC Championships at Falmouth this Friday.

  4. Bangor

    Previous: 4

    Last Meet: Mt. Blue Relays

    Place: 1st

    The Rams placed first at the Mt. Blue Relays behind Jonathan Stanhope's sixth place finish. They look like the early favorite to win the KVAC Championships this Saturday.

  5. Caribou

    Previous: 5

    Last Meet: FOC

    Place: 7th

    Caribou looks like the early favorite to take the class B East title. Look for them to win the PVC Championships this Saturday.

  6. Freeport

    Previous: 6

    Last Meet: at NYA

    Place: 1st

    The Falcons placed first at NYA behind Taylor Saucier's third place finish. Look for Freeport to contend for a top three finish at the WMC Championships this Friday.

  7. South Portland

    Previous: 8

    Last Meet: at Marshwood

    Place: 1st

    South Portland placed first at Marshwood behind John Wilkinson's fourth place finish. The Red Riots will look to contend for a top three finish at the Western Regionals in a few weeks.

  8. Greely

    Previous: 7

    Last Meet: Home vs. Falmouth, Cape, Yarmouth

    Place: 2nd

    Greely placed second on their home course to Falmouth behind Nate Maderia's second place finish. Look for the Rangers to contend for a top three finish at the WMC Championships this Friday.

    Last Meet: Home

    Place: 2nd

    NYA placed second on their home course behind Rudy Guiliani's second place finish. Look for NYA to contend for a top five finish at the WMC Championships this Friday.

  10. Ellsworth

    Last Meet: Hancock County Championships

    Place: 1st

    Ellsworth won the Hancock County Championships behind Dan Curts' first place finish. Look for Ellsworth to contend for the top spot at the PVC Championships this Saturday.

    McClintock clocked under 16 once again as he ran 15:45 on his home course. Look for McClintock to run another fast time at the MVC Championships this Saturday.

  2. Silas Eastman Fryeburg

    Previous: 2

    Last Meet: ?

    Place: N/A

    Time: N/A

    Eastman will finally face some competition this week at the WMC Championships in Falmouth this Friday. Depending on the weather, look for Eastman to chase after the course record.

  3. Chase Brown Boothbay

    Previous: 4

    Last Meet: Mt. Blue Relays

    Place: 1st

    Time: 11:00

    Brown cruised to a victory at the Mt. Blue Relays running a time of 11:00. Look for Brown to try and close the gap between himself and McClintock this Saturday at the MVC Championships.

  4. Tim Follo Falmouth

    Place: 1st

    Time: 16:53

    Follo placed first running a fine time of 16:53 at the tough Twinbrooks course. Look for Follo to try and close the gape between himself and Eastman this Friday at the WMC Championships.

  5. Nick Morris Scarborough

    Place: 6th

    Time: 17:31

    Morris placed sixth at Cheverus running a time of 17:41. Look for Morris to go unchallenged on his home course this Friday.

    Place: 1st

    Time: 14:24 (2.55 Miles)

    Curts cruised to an easy victory at the Hancock County Championships running a time of 14:24. Look for Curts to take home another victory at the PVC Championships this Saturday.

  7. Harlow Ladd Messalonskee

    Place: 9th

    Time: 16:57.71

    Ladd has been the best runner is Class A East so far thus fall. Look for him to contend for the top spot at the KVAC Championships this Saturday.

  8. Andy Reifman-Packett Mt. Ararat

    Last Meet: Mt. Blue Relays

    Place: 2nd

    Time: 11:17

    Reifman-Packett placed second at the Mt. Blue Relays running a time of 11:17. Look for Andy to contend for a top three finish at the KVAC Championships this Saturday.

  9. Jack Pierce Merriconeag

    Place: 1st

    Time: 16:00

    Pierce dominated the field at NYA cruising to a time of 16:00. Look for Pierce to contend for a top three finish at the WMC Championships.

    Place: 1st

    Time: 17:05.37

    Worthington won the Camden Hills Invitational running a time of 17:05.37. Look for Benson to contend for a top five finish at the KVAC Championships this Saturday.
