1.       Bethanie Brown Waterville

Brown put on another dominating performance this week. This time it was on her home course as she blasted a time of 18:35. She would have placed sixth in the boy’s race once again. Look for her to dominate once again at Messalonskee on Friday.

 

2.       Erzsebet Nagy Lawrence

Meet: Lawrence

Place: DNC

Time: N/A

Nagy hasn’t raced yet this season, but that shouldn’t affect her ranking. We’ll see if she gives it a go on Friday when Lawrence heads to Medomak Valley.

 

3.       Brittany Bowman Camden Hills

Last Week: 3

Meet: at Belfast

Place: 1^st

Time: 19:39.98

Bowman shook of a challenge from Abby Hersom to take home the victory at Belfast running a time of 19:39.98. She might get a chance to face off against Nagy when Camden heads to Medomak Valley on Friday.

 

4.       Charlotte Pierce Thornton Academy

Last Week: 4

Meet: at Bonny Eagle

Place: 1^st

Time: 19:12

Pierce proved once again why she is the most feared runner in the SMAA. She dominated the course at Bonny Eagle as she ran to a time of 19:12. Look for her to take home another victory on her home course this Friday.

 

5.       Kirstin Sandrueter Greely

Last Week: 5

Meet: Home

Place: DNC

Time: N/A

Like Nagy, Sandrueter has yet to race this year. That shouldn’t affect her ranking for the time being. If she gives it a go this Friday at Wells look for her to cruise to an easy victory.

 

6.       Kiera Murray Cheverus

Last Week: 9

Meet: at Gorham

Place: 1^st

Time: 19:50

Murray looked dominant in her win at Gorham as her time of 19:50 was more than two minutes ahead of the second place finisher. Look for her to win again when Cheverus heads to Westbrook on Friday.

 

7.       Aleta Looker Ellsworth

Last Week: 8

Meet: Caribou Invitational

Place: 1^st

Time: 19:29.62

Looker dominated the Caribou Invitational as she cruised to a fast time of 19:29.62, nearly twenty seconds ahead of Maggie Painter of MDI. Look for her to race to victory again when Ellsworth heads to Presque Isle on Friday.

 

8.       Abby Hersom Oceanside

Place: 2^nd

Time: 19:49.56

Hersom is off to a fabulous start this year as she placed second to Brittany Bowman running a great time of 19:49.56. Look for her to challenge for the win at Medomak Valley on Friday.

 

9.       Shannon Conley Cheverus

Meet: at Gorham

Place: DNC

Time: N/A

Conley didn’t compete last Friday at Gorham. Look for her to give it a go on Friday at Westbrook. She should challenge for the win.

 

10.   Maggie Painter MDI

Meet: Caribou Invitational

Painter had a great race at the Caribou Invitational as we saw her place second running a time of 19:47.60. Look for her to challenge for the win at Orono on Friday.
