Girls Individual Rankings Week 1

1. Kirstin Sandrueter Greely


Previous: 1 Meet: Home Place: 1st Time: 18:46
Sandrueter simply dominated on her home course as she cruised to a fast time of 18:46. Her time would have placed her seventh in the boy’s race. Sandrueter’s next race is at Lake Region on Friday.

2. Aleta Looker Ellsworth


Previous: 4 Meet: Ellsworth Invitational Place: 1st Time: 19:35
Looker cruised to an easy victory on her home course as she stopped the clock at 19:35. It was enough for a 30 second victory. Looker will next compete at the Presque Isle invitational this Saturday.

3. Shannon Conley South Portland


Previous: 3 Meet: SMAA Relays Place: 2nd Time: 9:45
Conley placed second at the SMAA Relays covering the 1.5 mile course in 9:45. She looks poised to have another tremendous year. South Portland heads Cheverus on Friday where she will face off against Kiera Murray.

4. Kiera Murray Cheverus
Previous: 7 Meet: SMAA Relays Place: 3th Time: 9:55
Murray placed third at the SMAA Relays running a time of 9:55. Cheverus is host to several teams on Friday which includes South Portland’s Shannon Conley. Expect those two to duke it out for the win.

5. Mary Szatkowski Bonny Eagle
Previous: 2 Meet: SMAA Relays Place: 4th Time: 10:02
The senior from Bonny Eagle had the fourth fastest time at the SMAA Relays running 10:02. Bonny Eagle heads to McAuley on Friday where she should go unchallenged.

6. Maggie Painter MDI
Previous: 10 Meet: Ellsworth Invitational Place: 2nd Time: 20:06
Painter placed second to Aleta Looker at the Ellsworth Invitational covering the tough 3.05 mile course in 20:06. She will have another tough challenge when MDI heads to the Presque Isle invitational on Saturday.

7. Teresa Murphy Brunswick
Previous: UR Meet: at Maranacook Place: 1st Time: 21:29
Murphy came out victorious in her first KVAC meet of the season at Maranacook. She covered the course in 21:29, ten seconds ahead of her teammate, Tessa Cassidy. Brunswick races at Lawrence on Friday.

8. Tessa Cassidy Brunswick
Previous: 8 Meet: at Maranacook Place: 2nd Time: 21:39
Cassidy placed second to her aforementioned teammate Teresa Murphy at Maranacook as she stopped the clock at 21:39. Expect her to challenge for the win at Lawrence this Friday.

9. Anne Guadalupi Cony
Previous: UR Meet: at Winslow Place: 1st Time: 20:05
The freshman from Cony surprised the KVAC community as she edged Emily Trapani of Camden Hills to take the win, running a time of 20:05. She has catapulted herself into the conversation as the top runner in the KVAC. She will face a tough challenge when Cony heads to Lawrence on Friday.

10. Emily Trapani Camden Hills
 Previous: UR Meet: at Winslow Place: 2nd Time: 20:07
Trapani placed second to the aforementioned Anne Guadalupi of Cony running a time of 20:07. Look for her to challenge for the win when Camden heads to Belfast on Friday.
