The Junior from Lewiston had a breakout year this fall as we saw Bare emerge into one of the best runners in the KVAC. Bare was continually in the top pack in every race last year. His breakout race of the season came at the Eastern Maine Class A Regional Meet where he placed fifth running a time of 17:13.76. Bare continued to improve once the postseason came around. He placed seventh at the Class A State meet running a time of 17:27.44 and a week after he managed to run a huge personal best time of 16:52 at the New England's where he placed 68th overall. He has already emerged as one of the top milers in the state as he placed second at the Bowdoin Relays running a fantastic time of 4:38.66. Look for Bare to contend for a Class A individual title next year.
