Girls XC Power Rankings Week 3
TEAM
1. Cheverus
Previous: 1
Last Meet: Home vs. McCauley, Windham
Place: 1st
Cheverus raced at Noble this week, but there haven’t been any results posted from that meet. Never the less the Lady Stags still deserve the number one spot for now.
2. MDI
Previous: 2
Last Meet: at Orono
Place: 1st
Maggie Painter, Nora Hubbell, and Olivia Erickson placed 1, 2, and 3 at Orono to lead MDI to a dominating victory. MDI will head to the Sectional Invitational in Old Town this Saturday.
3. John Bapst
Previous: 3
Last Meet: Presque Isle Invitational
Place: 4th
There haven’t been any results posted from John Bapst’ home meet last Friday, but that shouldn’t affect their ranking for the time being. They will head to the Sectional Invitational on Saturday.
4. Camden Hills
Previous: 4
Last Meet: at Medomak Valley
Place: 1st
Camden Hills dominated the competition at Medomak Valley behind Willow Parker’s second place finish on Friday. The Windjammers will head to Cony on Friday.
5. Massabesic
Previous: 9
Last Meet: at Deering
Place: 1st
Massabesic looked very impressive at Deering on Friday behind Jocelyn Acheson’s second place finish. Massabesic faces a tough challenge when they host Cheverus, Bonny Eagle, and Kennebunk on Friday.
6. Mt. Ararat
Previous: 8
Last Meet: Home vs. Morse, Brunswick, Cony
Place: 1st
Mt. Ararat cruised to an easy victory on their home course last Friday behind Kelly Lynch’s third place finish. Mt. Ararat will face a tough challenge when they head to Brunswick this Thursday.
7. Brunswick
Previous: 7
Last Meet: at Mt. Ararat
Place: 2nd
Brunswick placed second to Mt. Ararat last Friday behind Teresa Murphy’s first place finish. The Lady Dragons will get another chance to face off against Mt. Ararat this Thursday, this time on their home course.
8. Windham
Previous: 5
Last Meet: at Deering
Place: 2nd
Windham placed second at Deering last Friday behind Hannah Damron’s fourth place finish. Windham heads to South Portland this Friday.
9. Mt Blue
Previous: 10
Last Meet: at Leavitt
Place: 1st
Mt. Blue looked very impressive on the tough Leavitt course behind Addie Cullenberg’s second place finish. Mt. Blue will face a tough challenge when they head to Brunswick this Thursday.
10. Cape Elizabeth
Previous: 9
Last Meet: at York
Place: 2nd
The Capers didn’t have the best day at York as they placed second to the Wildcats. Expect Cape Elizabeth to bounce back when host NYA, Fryeburg, and York.

INDIVIDUAL
1. Abby Leonardi Kennebunk
Previous: 1
Last Meet: at Gorham
Place: Idle
Time: Idle
Leonardi hasn’t raced since the SMAA Relays, but that shouldn’t affect her ranking. She will face off against Emily Durgin this week when Kennebunk heads to Massabesic on Friday.
2. Emily Durgin Cheverus
Previous: 2
Last Meet: Home
Place: 1st
Time: 18:30
The results from the Noble meet haven’t been posted, but Durgin’s ranking shouldn’t be affected. Durgin will get her chance against Leonardi this Friday when Cheverus heads to Massabesic.
3. Abby Mace Maranacook
Previous: 3
Last Meet: at Leavitt
Place: 1st
Time: 19:59
Mace cruised to an easy victory on the tough Leavitt course running a fine time of 19:59. She will receive a challenge from Willow Parker of Camden Hills when Maranacook heads to Lincoln on Friday.
4. Erzsebet Nagy Lawrence
Previous: 4
Last Meet: at Medomak Valley
Place: 1st
Time: 18:28.88
Nagy continues to impress this fall, as she dominated the competition once again running an incredibly fast time of 18:28.88 on the Medomak Valley course. Expect her to go unchallenged this Friday when Lawrence heads to MCI.
5. Charlotte Pierce Thornton Academy
Previous: 9
Last Meet: at Deering
Place: 1st
Time: 18:56
Pierce dominated the field at Deering last Friday as she cruised to an impressive time of 18:56. Expect her to go unchallenged on her home course this Friday.
6. Willow Parker Camden Hills
Previous: 10
Last Meet: at Medomak Valley
Place: 2nd
Time: 18:59.43
Parker has been the most impressive freshman thus far during the fall season. She placed second to Nagy last Friday running a fine time of 18:59.43. She will face a tough challenge this Friday as she will toe the line against Abby Mace at Lincoln this Friday.
7. Kirstin Sandrueter Greely
Previous: 8
Last Meet: at NYA
Place: 1st
Time: 19:07
The results from the Lake Region meet haven’t been posted, but Kirstin Sandrueter has had a magnificent fall, which is why she deserves the number seven spot this week. Expect her to compete very well at the Manchester Invitational this Saturday.
8. Shannon Conley Cheverus
Previous: 7
Last Meet: Home
Place: 2nd
Time: 19:36
Conley has had a very impressive fall thus far as evidence to her second place finish on her home course. She will have a tough challenge on Friday when Cheverus heads to Massabesic on Friday.
9. Fiona Hendry Cheverus
Previous: 7
Last Meet: Home
Place: 4th
Time: 20:59
Hendry will face off against the top runners of the SMAA this Friday when Cheverus heads to Massabesic. Expect her to run a very fast time.
10. Bethanie Brown Waterville
Previous: 5
Last Meet: at Messalonskee
Place: 2nd
Time: 20:33
Brown placed second at Messalonskee last Friday. Expect her to bounce back when Waterville heads to MCI this Friday.
