Week 5 Power Rankings: Boys Individuals

    Curts opted not to run on Saturday due to illness. Let's hope he gets well soon as he continues his dominant season at the Hancock County Championships this Saturday.
  2. Silas Eastman Fryeburg


    Last Week: 2
    Meet: Manchester Invitational
    Place: 2nd
    Time: 15:42
    Results from the Lake Region meet haven't been posted yet, but I think we can assume Eastman took home the victory in dominating fashion. Look for him to challenge the course record of 16:08.5 at Falmouth next week at the WMC Championships.
  3. Josef Holt Andrews Telstar

    Place: 3rd
    Time: 15:59.89
    Holt-Andrews ran a fantastic race at FOC as he was the first Mainer to cross in 15:59.89. He will face off against Jack Pierce again at the Western Maine Championships in a few weeks.
  4. Jack Pierce Merriconeag
    Last Week: 3
    Meet: FOC
    Place: 4th
    Time: 16:14.27
    Pierce ran a great race at FOC as he stopped the clock at 16:14.27. Look for Pierce to claim victory at NYA this Friday.
  5. Jonathan Stanhope Bangor
    Last Week: 6
    Meet: FOC
    Place: 5th
    Time: 16:24.55
    Stanhope was the first Class A runner to cross the finish line on Saturday as he ran a new personal best of 16:24.55. Look for Stanhope to contend for the win at the Mt. Blue Relays on Friday.
  6. Cam Nadeau Biddeford
    Last Week: 5
    Meet: FOC
    Place: 6th
    Time: 16:30.48
    Nadeau had a great race on Saturday as he ran a fine time of 16:30.48. Look for Nadeau to continue to progress as the post season rolls along.
  7. Ben Trapani Camden Hills
    Last Week: 8
    Meet: FOC
    Place: 7th
    Time: 16:36.12
    Trapani proved he belongs with the top boys in the state as he placed seventh running a time of 16:36.12. Look for Trapani to win easily on his home course this week.
  8. Mohamed Barre Lewiston

    Meet: FOC
    Place: 8th
    Time: 16:37.36
    Mohamed Barre is back and ready to roll as we saw him place 8th at FOC running a time of 16:37.36. Look for him to contend for the win at the Mt. Blue Relays on Friday.
  9. Nate Madiera Greely

    Meet: Manchester Invite
    Place: 7th
    Time: 16:29
    Madiera has been one of the most consistent runners in the WMC this year. Look for Madiera to take home another victory on his home course this Friday.
  10. Will Shafer GNG
    Last Week: UR
    Meet: at Poland
    Place: 1st
    Time: 17:42
    Shafer got back on the winning track as he cruised to an easy victory at Poland running a time of 17:42. Look for Shafer to run a fast time at Lake Region this Friday.
